I chose this song because it's called Daisies and that IS my name, but that’s not the only reason I chose this song. I chose this song because it kind of represents me. I’ve gotten bullied before and that’s in the song. I thought about things. A little too hard sometimes. At that time I only had about one really good friend. She was my neighbor. And my best friend. She made me feel good about myself everyday. After about a year of us being friends. She moved away. I didn’t see her almost everyday. Sometimes I didn't see her for a few months. Then Covid-19 hit. It Was bad, I felt like I had no friends again. But this song is what pretty much makes me me. And i’m happy to be me. And i’m glad about that.

When katy perry made this song she wasn’t feeling good like me. The meaning to this song is “in the darkest times. It inspires the brightest blooms”. When she talks about darkest times she is talking about the pandemic we are all in. but we’re all in this together. We have to work hard and everything will be good again. That means wearing masks. Social distancing and all that stuff. We can get through this together. And when she says blooms, i think she means the people who are helping who are getting inspired. Kids are making things to help.

I think this song is a reallyyyyyyyyyyy good song and it might inspire everybody too. You can be the brightest bloom. Oh I meant “Blooms” with an s at the end. Everyone can be a bloom. Don’t let anyone get in your way. Bullies are just going to bully. But we can’t stop that. We just have to show kindness in our hearts. And we’ll get past all obstacles. This is why I chose this song.
